MLB game forecasts week of 9/17

Sunday, 9/17

Rays @ Orioles: postponement likely as widespread showers and a few storms move east across Maryland and Virginia

Yankees @ Pirates: delay to the start of the game likely and a slight risk of postponement for showers and storms associated with the same system moving through VA and MD.

Twins @ White Sox: a few scattered showers/storms in the area, slight risk of a delay but won’t last long.

Monday, 9/18

No delays or postponements expected

Tuesday, 9/19

No weather delays or postponements expected

Wednesday, 9/20

Guardians @ Royals: slight chance of a few showers/storms in the area; slight risk of a delay

Thursday, 9/21

No delays or postponements expected

Friday, 9/22

Angels @ Twins: a cold front approaching from the west will bring a line of showers and storms into western Minnesota; right now, forecast models keep any rain west of Minneapolis/St. Paul but the timing could change as we get closer, so I’m putting in a slight risk of delay just in case.
