Game forecasts for week of 5/7
Apologies for the delay in getting this week’s game forecasts up, this past weekend was a busy one.
Tuesday, 5/7
Tigers @ Guardians: showers and storms in the area, some disagreement among forecast models as to whether they’ll reach Cleveland but the risk of a delay is there.
D-backs @ Reds: same as above
Angels @ Pirates: slight chance of a scattered storm or two; delay risk is low
Padres @ Cubs: a few storms possible early but quickly clearing out; low delay risk
Mariners @ Twins: slight chance of a passing shower or storm; low delay risk
Wednesday, 5/8
Mets @ Cardinals: showers and storms crossing the region in the late afternoon could cause a delay later in the game if it goes into extra innings
Astros @ Yankees: slight risk of a passing storm or two, slight risk of delay
Mariners @ Twins: showers and storms just south of the twin cities; any shift north and delays are possible
Thursday, 5/9
Astros @ Yankees: widespread showers/storms in the area; delays likely and a high risk of postponement
Friday, 5/10
D-backs @ Orioles: a stray shower possible early, then clearing; low risk of delay
Braves @ Mets: delay likely with scattered showers in the area
Saturday, 5/11
No weather concerns for Saturday’s games
